JANUARY

Hogueras de San Antón · January 16

Residents and local clubs light bonfires across the city to roast potatoes, chistorra, and lamb chops. A popular tradition that marks the start of the festive year.

FEBRUARY

San Blas

A symbolic welcome for the storks with activities in the square and the traditional giant pastry ring.

Carnivals

Children’s activities, costumes, sweets, and chocolate in a participatory celebration that fills the streets with festive atmosphere.

 

Jueves Lardero

The traditional culeca, a bread filled with egg and chorizo, takes center stage on this day before Lent.

Vegetable Festival
